A team plan shares access inside one AI product. ArtifactBridge sits underneath different AI tools so Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and others can work from the same approved workspace.

Memory helps an individual agent retain context. ArtifactBridge is a shared, reviewable workspace where people and agents decide what information should become the version the team works from.

A Room is a shared conversation around one goal or piece of work. It keeps questions, answers, evidence and decisions together so people and agents can continue from the same record.

That depends on the document’s review settings. In the governed workflow, the agent proposes and a person decides. The product tour uses governed documents so the approval boundary is visible from the start.

No. Install and sign in to the AI tool separately. A detected desktop AI app does not mean its command-line agent is installed. Local automatic starts need the supported command-line tool.

Open Send to agent in the Room. Resume an eligible saved conversation on this computer, or start a new supported agent. To use a conversation you already have open, use Copy context and paste it there. See Work with local agents.

No. ArtifactBridge AI runs in the workspace. A local agent runs through the AI tool installed on your computer. It uses that tool’s account, local permissions, and usage allowance. Choose the path that has the context and tools your task needs.

No. Notifications control alerts. Automatic starts have separate controls in desktop Settings → Advanced. Quitting ArtifactBridge stops its background checks until you open it again; it does not cancel a server workflow or necessarily stop an agent process already running.

No. It provides references and instructions for live reads, not a new permission. The receiving tool must be connected to the correct workspace and authorized to read the items. Check Sharing and access when a recipient cannot open them.

A workflow that uses the built-in executor runs on the service. Local-agent starts require the desktop app and supported tools on an available computer. An external executor must be configured and running separately. See Run workflows.
